I build the infrastructure other people depend on, for engineers, for AI agents, and now for
the people studying for the hardest exams of their lives. At Bottomline, self-service platforms
for 9 product lines. At Agent Horizon, I built SkillsCake and Reanthesis end to end.
About
At Bottomline, I am leading the company's move onto a self-service Akamai WAF platform, and I help guide
AI engineering. The throughline of my work is taking something
only specialists can touch and turning it into something any team can run safely.
On my own, I founded Agent Horizon and build its products end to end, from the first line of code
to the marketing. SkillsCake does for AI agents what a good platform does for engineers: it hands
them the context they need to do real work. Reanthesis is a turn toward people, a study app for
brutal exams, designed with the nurses and med students who rely on it in production today.
Work
Staff Core Platform Engineer
Bottomline · 2020–present
Architect and deliver infrastructure for global B2B payment systems while maintaining
production Linux systems. Lead cross-team automation and the company's AI engineering work.
Lead the company-wide migration onto Akamai as the CDN/WAF standard, bringing all
product lines (some with 1,000+ hostnames) onto self-service GitLab CI OpenTofu pipelines my team built.
Help guide AI use across hundreds of engineers: shared skills on the skills.sh protocol,
secure MCP servers, prompt-injection defense.
Replaced 3,000+ manual firewall tickets a year with validated, code-driven self-service automation.
Co-founded the GitOps Center of Excellence and helped build the internal product that made
pipeline adoption easier.
Hosted office hours for 200+ users and mentored junior engineers.
Founder
Agent Horizon · 2025–present
Agent Horizon builds products, and I built every part of the business from the ground up, from
full-stack development to marketing and support. SkillsCake makes AI agents faster and cheaper to
run. Reanthesis turns grueling exam prep into something people look forward to.
Built
Reanthesis
re·anthesis: the repeated blooming of memory through recall. My own word, my own product.
Bring your whole Anki library over clean, then study in something that finally feels good: grade
each card with the addictive swipe of a dating app, and watch a little plant grow with every
card's progress. Study rounds of 25 or 2 minutes are paced by a lupine that blooms as the timer
fills. Nurses and med students study on it in production today and shape what I build. AI comes
next, with care.
I wrote the parametric generator that grows this lupine in Python, so one program is the whole brand.
SkillsCake
Context engineering is hard, expensive, and out of reach for beginners. SkillsCake takes on
that complexity and hands back a personalized, safe, and strong agent skill in minutes. You own your
skill, and it runs across Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT on fewer tokens. I treat SkillsCake as a
security product: it defends against prompt injection, collects almost no data, and has no vendor lock-in.
SkillsCake is the best at improving a skill with zero context, but users wanted their agents to make skills
with SkillsCake based on their actual work. The catch: a live conversation can carry PII and secrets.
I made open-source plugins for Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot that safely run SkillsCake, optimally packaging
and sanitizing the context. You get better skills without leaving your chat.
An open-source agent OS for Claude Code. Reusable skills,
subagents, and safety hooks, plus role-based sessions where a root operator spawns managers,
a CEO, or specialized engineers to coordinate on a goal, with a human in the loop on the
decisions that matter at multiple levels.
Off the keyboard, I run Unicorn Hill Farm, with horses, daily chores, and heavy
equipment. I'm an avid skier and an OEC-certified patroller at Whaleback. I have
the cutest 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, and I cook both plant-based and
animal-ingredient versions of recipes across cuisines.
